Legends & All-City Golfers

The pages linked from the icons below comprise a list of players and coaches who are "The Legends of Madison High School Golf." These are individuals who were All City Golf Team selections from 1985 to present or who distinguished themselves as exceptional high school players and who have been All City Golf Team selections if a team had existed prior to 1985. Since 1985, All City First Team selections are automatic members of "The Legends of Madison High School Golf." We honor them and commend them for their role in being part of the great tradition of Madison High School Golf.

A concerned effort was made to assemble this list. We apologize to those who we may have failed to recognize. We welcome suggestions and additions from anyone. It is our intent to add names and photos in the future and make this a complete and accurate summary of those players who deserve recognition. Please email Mike McKenna with suggestions, comments, contact information or photos. Thank you!

Where are They Now

After graduating from West, Pat attended U.W. Madison where he received a Masters of Science Degree in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics. He also earned 5 “Big Ten” varsity letters in Basketball and Golf.

For the past 38 years, Pat has lived in San Diego, CA. Married at the ripe old age of 44 to Minneapolis native Diane Endy, who’s father was one of the founders of NFL films. Pat and Diane have two girls who are now 20 and 18. The 20 year old is a sophomore at Cal Berkeley and the 18 year old is a senior in High School.

Pat has spent his entire career as a real estate broker, most recently as Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield. Now age 65, joined a San Diego country club 34 years ago and still a member. Pat has had a zero handicap for most of that time and actually says he is a better golfer now than when he was in school and younger.

Pat did not compete much in golf tournaments until as a senior at age 56. Finished in the top 5 in Southern California Senior Am and was runner up in club championships 4 times losing to youngsters. In September of 2015, Pat won the Southern California Super Senior golf tournament outside of Santa Barbara.
